oh walt...i love you. (aka disney printables how to)

disney is my favorite
favorite things.
favorite.

if you remember....i was cruella for halloween..

and basically the only vacation i ever took was to disneyland
(pstt..make sure to check out my disney expert sponsor HERE!)

I had a whole mickey party for my daughter's birthday last year...

i wanted to be belle at disneyland..

i own almost every classic disney cartoon movie.

and two disney movie games.

and a princess movie game.

and i love disney.

one of me and the kiddos favorite game to play at the dinner table or in the car is to say a quote from a disney movie and guess where it came from....

like..." you broke my smolder"

or.. "flowers, chocolates, promises you don't intend to keep."

and "you are only in trouble if you get caught"

or how about, "fish are friends. not food."

so this project is right up my alley.
and it's very easy.
(and this post is about to contain the most pictures ever!!!!)

I have given a tutorial on how to create printables with picnik HERE..
and picnik is goin a bye bye..so this is kinda useless info..
but if you want to make your own...upload any phote..use the exposure to make it all white...
and since everyone can use the premium features...you can go to photo basket and drag any picture to the blank white...
so i just found the image i needed...uploaded it...dragged it to my paper...and then added text around it to make it fit.
(if you need to crop make sure you click keep proportions or you going to have an odd shaped print that doesn't fit into any frame.

and you can always right click your mouse and bring things foward (like the text!)
(or send things to the back)
and you will want to make sure you image has a white background...
(or you will have to do something like the hunchback picture....

for the book pages ..i took old scraps of paper and just regular computer paper..
and glued it all on randomly....

then trimmed the edges....

and loaded it in the printer as usual...(you will want to make sure you get all those little edges glued down nice and smooth...

or else it will come up and print on half of it and mess it all up...

okay..so here's all the pictures...(I also have them all HERE in a google document!)
I would either just open them up in a word document...insert them as an image and then size it how i needed it.....or in my picture file i have a print button
and i can pick the exact size i need....

(you can also upload them to staples and get large ones (or if you don't mind them in black and white get the engineering ones that are HUGE for like 2.99.)

and print...

for the paper bag one..

i literally took a brown sack and cut it to a paper size and added it like a piece of paper..easy peasy!

you can also use the texture feature on picnik...

and here's my disclaimer:
some don't  enlarge very clear (i've resized..it's just the image!)
and some might even be spelled wrong
and some have a faint outline around it so i can see the sizes when i'm makin it..

all stuff that i'm not going to fix (sorry...but it just ain't happening!)

(this is the only one that turned!)

  1. Oh Kim we would make great friends who would sit and quote Disney movies all day. My family is huge into Disney and growing up we used to play this game where our mom and dad would name a movie and me and my sisters would sing a song from that movie. We were never stumped! I have the quote "Keep moving forward" in my room and love it. And I love all your printables!

  3. After reading your post I think it may have been possible that we were twins separated at birth---except the part where you want to be Belle at Disneyland....I'd much rather be Maleficent...although I guess that could just mean I'm the evil twin.

Anyways...love this post and all things Disney!

  6. These are truly beautiful. I think my ultimate Disney movie moment was the song sung by Jesse in Toy Story 2. I cried like a baby. My then 4 year old held my hand and said "it's ok Mummy" and now he is almost 14, and even when his teenage antics are driving me insane, I still see that sweet little boy who comforted his Mum.
I had them all on video now with 2 little ones again time to get them on DVD :)

  8. Ok, first of all, you're awesome! I too am a Disney fanatic. I l.o.v.e. Disney! I actually worked at Disney World for a while and, let me tell you, AWESOME!!!

Now, not to be picky, because I love your printables and I plan on using several of them, but the one you have credited to Peter Pan is incorrect. That quote is from Robin Hood. Maid Marian and Lady Cluck. Still...these are great!

We could hang out and have a whole Disney conversation. It would be great!

  14. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder... Or forgetful" is by Lady Cluck & Maid Marian on Robin Hood... Not Peter Pan :)

  17. I love these!

However, as a grammar freak I have to point out the error in the Cinderella quote. It should read, "A dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep."

  18. I love these! I miss Picknik sooo very much. I have to ask, have you managed to find a comparable editing site? I have yet to do so. I pine for Picnik.
